For over a decade now I’ve been a personal trainer with a passion for learning. Over the years I’ve trained in many modalities and now I specialise as a golf fitness certified expert through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI)

TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) is the world's leading educational organisation dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. For over twenty years, TPI has gathered the world’s largest technical database of the game’s top Tour professionals as well as every-day golfers. TPI collects 3D motion capture, force, pressure, launch monitor, strength, power, and movement data on every player that visits the TPI campus. Using this data, TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. Conversely, TPI determined how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury. This relationship is what TPI calls The Body-Swing Connection.
If you’re game is limited by what your body can do you have 2 options: 1) settle for a swing that works around your limitations; OR 2) work with a personal trainer who is a certified golf fitness professional to improve your limitations.18 of the last major championships were won by players advised by a TPI Certified Expert. 25 of the top 30 players in the world (official world golf rankings) are advised by a TPI Certified Expert. This quick and simple assessment involves a golf specific movement screen to determine how well your body moves. We’ll guide you through some golf specific movements the results of which will determine your golf fitness handicap. Don't worry, it's not scary and you can't fail, it's all about determining your baseline so we can build on it. Wear your comfy workout wear and sneakers.
Just like your golf handicap your golf fitness handicap ranges from 36 to +7 the better your handicap the better your body moves. The better your body moves the more consistency and power you can get in your swing.

She understands what it means to be a working mother, with all the associated stresses (being time poor and sleep deprived and having poor self control when it comes to binge eating!!) and so has been able to help me stay on track by adjusting my workouts so that they work in with whatever else I’m having to juggle at any given time. I’ve worked with a few different PT’s over the years but Sare has been the only one I’ve worked with who has made a point of getting to know what I am capable of and willing to do. Her workouts are varied and challenging. Another strong point of Sare’s is being able to research and seek alternative options to replace routines that don’t work for me.

Whenever I think of personal trainers I picture someone yelling and pushing you til you cry or die haha. So I was a little scared...! The way you worked through that first consultation with me and took the time to ask thorough questions, figure out what I wanted to get out of the sessions and find my "why" was fantastic. It really calmed my nerves. In the sessions following I was happy to find out that you tailor your training approach to your clients, and that you wouldn't be yelling at me and making me cry ;)I'm so much stronger and feel so much better!!
